Not sure how many Charlotteans are waking up to the same conditions as we have here at our home in Huntersville this morning, but our neighborhood roads are covered in black ice, lightly covered by a layer of snow. Not much snow on the roads, but it is enough that — despite my years of driving in snow while growing up — I’m going to go back to bed for a while, then enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee in the safety and warmth of our home. Of course, it’s really the ice that is the problem — I almost fell on my rear with my first step onto the sidewalk.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause, of course, and we will do our best to get everyone rescheduled very quickly.
